Only half an hour by car from Kirkenes airport, 50 minutes away from Kirkenes city, and about 6 km from the border with Finland and the grocery stores in the small town of Näätämö.
Neiden is an eldorado for outdoor enthusiasts. The proximity to the Arctic Ocean, the mountains and the river provides ample opportunities for sport fishing, wilderness experiences and recreation. Here are countless fishing lakes and great areas for small game hunting. We have cabins on the banks of the Neiden River, which is among the best salmon rivers in Norway, log cabins in the mountains, and from mid-March to the end of April we have small tent camps by very good fishing lakes.
Neiden Fjellstue has years of experience in arranging trips in our beautiful area, with or without a guide.
The family business' history dates back to 1876, when Petter Abraham and Anna Greta Saari started a shuttle station for travelers at the place where Neiden Fjellstue is located and many a hiker also came over the mountain for accommodation and good food.
